The Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) and the Association of Canadian Occupational Therapy Regulatory Organizations (ACOTRO) administer assessments to internationally educated physiotherapists (PT) and occupational therapists (OT) to determine if their education and competence is substantially equivalent to Canadian graduates.
As part of their respective assessment processes, internationally educated OTs and PTs are required to demonstrate proof of language proficiency in English or French.
CAPR and ACOTRO are seeking a consultant to map test scores of the following French language tests with the TESTCan, which is no longer offered.
1. The Test d’évaluation du français (TEF);
2. The Test d’évaluation de français du Canada (TEF Canada);
3. The Test de connaissance du français (TCF); and
4. The Test de connaissance du français du Canada (TCF Canada).
